Stefano Galletti – known Italian sculptor, born 15 Jun 1832 in Cento, in a poor family. His initial training was received in his native country, and then, thanks to a grant of administration of the city, in 1847, moved to Bologna to continue their education in the arts.Among the most famous works by Galletti can be called a bronze statue of San Lorenzo (1865), the statue of Liberty in the square in San Marino, a monument to the "Cavour" in the eponymous square in Rome (1895). From 1899 to 1900 Galletti was President of the Accademia di San Luca. The investigated composition was created in the best traditions of the Italian school of the 19th century. The material served as one of the most beautiful rocks of Carrara marble.
